LENT 2023
Today, God our Father brings us to the beginning of Lent. For the next 40 days, we focus on getting to know Jesus as our Savior in our minds, hearts, and actions.
We pray that our God will fill us with the Holy Spirit, purify our hearts and strengthen us in love. Let us humbly ask him:
Lord please draw us closer to you in daily PRAYER
Please give us grace to empty ourselves of anything that
takes us away from knowing, loving and serving you.
Please give us grace to make right choices about how we
spend our time, talent, and treasures
Teach us to be loving to others we meet daily and look after
their needs
May we learn to willingly bear the wounds of your Son,
for through his body he gave us life.
PRACTICE THESE PRAYERS DAILY THROUGHOUT LENT:
SIGN of the CROSS
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN
ACT OF CONTRITION
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you, whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ Suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy. AMEN.
OUR FATHER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, (SINS) as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, AMEN
THE HAIL MARY
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. AMEN
GLORY BE
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be w world without end. AMEN

CUARESMA 2023
Hoy, Dios nuestro Padre nos lleva al inicio de la Cuaresma. Durante los próximos 40 días, nos enfocamos en conocer a Jesús como nuestro Salvador en nuestras mentes, corazones y acciones.
Oramos para que nuestro Dios nos llene del Espíritu Santo, purifique nuestros corazones y nos fortalezca en el amor. Pidámosle humildemente:
Señor, acércanos más a ti en la ORACIÓN diaria.
Por favor, danos la gracia de despojarnos de cualquier cosa que
nos aleja de conocerte, amarte y servirte.
Por favor, danos gracia para tomar las decisiones correctas sobre
cómo gastar nuestro tiempo, talento y tesoros
Enséñanos a ser amorosos con los que nos encontramos a diario y
cuidamos sus necesidades
Que aprendamos a llevar voluntariamente las heridas de tu Hijo,
porque a través de su cuerpo nos dio la vida.

ACTO DE CONTRICIÓN
Dios mío, me arrepiento de mis pecados con todo mi corazón. Al elegir hacer el mal y dejar de hacer el bien, he pecado contra ti, a quien debo amar sobre todas las cosas.
Me propongo firmemente, con tu ayuda, hacer penitencia, no pecar más y evitar todo lo que me lleve a pecar.
Nuestro Salvador Jesucristo Sufrió y murió por nosotros. En su nombre, Dios mío, ten piedad. AMÉN.
NUESTRO PADRE
Padre nuestro, que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu nombre; venga tu reino, hágase tu voluntad en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día,
y perdona nuestras ofensas, (PECADOS) como nosotros perdonamos a los que nos ofenden; y no nos dejes caer en tentación, mas líbranos del mal, AMEN
EL AVE MARÍA
Salve, María, llena eres de gracia, el Señor está contigo. Bendita tú entre las mujeres y bendito el fruto
de tu vientre, Jesús. Santa María, Madre de Dios, ruega por nosotros pecadores, ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte. AMÉN
SEA LA GLORIA
Gloria al Padre y al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo como era en el principio ahora y por los siglos de los siglos por los siglos de los siglos. AMÉN
