Read the COLLECT for June 14, 2020 as a family.
O Lord, from whom all good proceeds: Grant us the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may always think those things that are good, and by your merciful guidance may accomplish the same; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

THE COLLECT The COLLECT of the DAY gathers us around the important teaching from God’s WORD in the readings for each SUNDAY. Look for the answers to these questions each week:
1. Who is God? 2. What are we asking God to do for us? Why? 3. How will it happen? What is the source of power?
Example:
1. Who is God ?
a. Our Lord from whom all good proceeds
b. One GOD in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
2. What are we asking God to do for us?
a. Grant us the inspiration[1] of your Holy Spirit
b. WHY?
i. That we may always think those things that are good
ii. and accomplish (do the things that are good)
3. How will it happen? What is source of power?
a. Through God’s merciful guidance
b. The power to do God’s will comes through God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit working together: collaboration.[2]
4. Pray the COLLECT for Sunday, June 14 again together as a family.
5. See how God answers your prayers to have the Holy Spirit inspire you to think and do what Jesus would think and do.
