Greetings Beloved Families:
This Sunday is the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time in our Liturgical Calendar following Jesus as God's Plan of Salvation for us.
The Liturgical Color is GREEN
This is a time of learning and growing in our minds and hearts as Jesus teaches how to live in His Kingdom NOW and forever.
Some of you are preparing your children to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist (First Communion) or the Sacrament of Confirmation.
What conversion of mind, heart, and life have you seen in yourself? in your children? over the past few months?
In the Gospel reading this week, Jesus tells us how we can experience true HAPPINESS with God, deep in our hearts and souls as we are transformed by the Holy Spirit's power in us.
If you think about it, Jesus is describing his heart, his thoughts, and his actions as he lived his life on earth. He shows us by his own example how to live in God's Kingdom.
Ask the following questions for yourself and your children as you read and ponder The Beatitudes from Matthew 5:1-12a.
Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Do I start every morning with: Good Morning God what is YOUR will for
me today?
Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted
Do I feel sadness in my heart when I stray from God's will for me?
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Do I seek to do your will before I try to do something on my own strength?
Please help me to connect the gift you have given me to YOUR will
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
Do I yearn to do what is best for ALL in YOUR eyes, not mine?
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Do I show kindness and care to others even if I don't think they "deserve" it?
Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will SEE God.
Do I ask for God's help to clean out my heart so I can see and hear Him?
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God.
Do I try to help everyone love one another and get along?
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Do I ask God for courage to still love others as He does when I am mistreated
because of my standing up for what is right in God's eyes?

Este domingo es la Cuarta Semana del Tiempo Ordinario en nuestro Calendario Litúrgico siguiendo a Jesús como el Plan de Salvación de Dios para nosotros.
El color litúrgico es el VERDE
Este es un tiempo de aprendizaje y crecimiento en nuestras mentes y corazones mientras Jesús enseña cómo vivir en Su Reino AHORA y para siempre.

Bienaventurados los perseguidos por causa de la justicia, porque de ellos es el reino de los cielos.
¿Le pido valor a Dios para seguir amando a los demás como Él lo hace cuando me maltratan? por defender lo que es correcto a los ojos de Dios?
¿En cuál de las bienaventuranzas te está llamando el Señor para que te concentres en las próximas semanas?
