This is the LAST Sunday of the Catholic Liturgical Year. This Sunday we celebrate Our Lord Jesus Christ as King of the Universe.

This is the part of the mass where we hear readings from the BIBLE.
The BIble is an important way that God teaches us.

We say: And with your Spirit.

We say; Glory to you O Lord
(Make the sign of the cross on your forerhead, your lips, and on your heart as you say these words as a prayer to God that His WORD would be in our minds, in the words we speak and and deep in our hearts.
A Reading from the Gospel of John 18:33b-37:
The Trial Before Pilate
Pilate said to Jesus, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
Jesus answered, “Do you say this on your own or have others told
you about me?”
Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I?
Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me.
What have you done?”
Jesus answered, “My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my
kingdom did belong to this world, my attendants would be fighting to
keep me from being handed over to the Jews.
But as it is, my kingdom is not here.”
So Pilate said to him, “Then you are a king?”
Jesus answered, “You say I am a king.
For this I was born and for this I came into the world,
to testify to the truth.
Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.
Deacon: The GOSPEL of the LORD
We say: Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ
HOMILY
The priest or deacon helps us to understand what Jesus is teaching us through his WORD and how we can become holy through the readings. Listen carefully.
